I can't speak to the longevity or eventual softness of the sheets, but they arrived in lovely condition (no scents or perfumes which is greatly appreciated), folded beautiful and packed well. I've washed and slept on them for a little while now and they seem to be of great quality. I'm really happy with them so far!
